Pop Pie Co. pie shops
A California favorite pie stop that pushes the boundaries of pie flavours.
At Studio Millie, our goal was to maintain the spirit of their well-loved logo (the cute flag) while building out a larger roster of cohesive marks to use across their many assets. We expanded their mostly B&W palette to include cheerful colours, pulling in a few from their sister biz Stella Jean’s (see that project here) knowing that the two shops often share real estate. Drawing inspiration from Lauren Astra’s murals inside Stella Jean’s locations, I created pie-centric illustrations and patterns which make full use of this vibrant palette.

Pop Pie Co. was (re!)branded and built at Studio Millie under the Creative Direction of Cait Wharton, and with the creative collaboration of Jean Merrick, and Tori English. Photos belong to Pop Pie, and have been snapped by the talented Israel Palacio (except when snagged from Pop Pie’s social feed/followers).
